Fields of competence of the International Office

The International Office is responsible for:

•  Carrying out of international activities of the Academy in accordance with current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Charter of the Academy;
   
• Managing of issues related to the study of foreigners at the Academy in accordance with the agreements concluded with foreign educational institutions, organizations and individuals;
  
• Managing of work under fundamental and applied scientific and scientific-methodological research activities of researchers of the Academy and foreign countries, which are of mutual interest and aimed at satisfying the needs of the society and market, in close connection with the teaching processes and scientific activities of the Academy;
  
• Preparing and conducting of international conferences, seminars, exhibitions, fairs hosted or participated by the Academy;
  
• Managing of obligations arising from international agreements of the Russian Federation, agreements (contracts) of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation on higher education, related to the Academy, as well as agreements and contracts of the Academy with foreign partners;
  
• Offering informational, consultative and mediatory services to the Academy students and members of staff, legal entities or natural persons for fulfillment of their opportunities and needs in contacts with foreign countries;
  
• Managing of international exchange of students and lecturers (internships, advanced professional trainings, etc);
  
• Managing of publication and distribution of teaching materials, collections, guidance books and advertising leaflets jointly with foreign partners;
  
• Carrying out of negotiations, preparing of bilateral agreements, projects, including scientific and applied ones; conducting of meetings, seminars, conferences within joint bilateral and multilateral projects;
  
• Participating in establishing of joint entities and other structural divisions within the Academy’s field of competence, as well as conducting joint commercial activity with foreign partners;
  
• Carrying out of international and external correspondence on the issues of the Academy’s international activity;
  
• Selecting of applicants to study at the Academy out of foreigners coming to the Russian Federation within the Academy’s agreements and individual contracts.
