Department of Physics and Mathematics initiated freshmen

October 3, Department of Physics and Mathematics initiated freshmen.
The initiation started in the main hall with the Department’s anthem.The event was organized by senior students. They proposed to freshmen to introduce themselves. Each group prepared a performance. It turned out that there is quite a few talented freshmen. First-year students played a guitar, danced and sang. The Spirit of Pedagogics, who was an invited guest tested the audience’s reaction and intelligence.
Galina Yanushkina, Department Dean, addressed to the freshmen with a welcome speech and wished them to succeed in their studies.
Then Ekaterina Teteleva, Senior professor, Chair of experimental and general physics initiated students by creating an electric chain of freshmen with an electrostatic machine.
