OnegoMix festival

November 14-17, 2012 for the first time OnegoMix festival will take place in Petrozavodsk. The festival is organized in the framework of the EU project called Creation and promotion of program of mass event planners training as an instrument of cultural and tourism development of the Northwest Russia. The project is implemented with support of KSPA and the Administration of Petrozavodsk.
The festival will combine many genres and consist of several stages united by one idea and style, it also compliments the International Student’s Day celebration (November 17).
Youth groups and individual performers from educational institutions and extended education institutions of the Republic of Karelia and other regions of Russia and abroad who are involved in creative activity are welcome to participate in the Festival.
Age limits: 14-30.
Application deadline: November 4, 2012.
The Festival will have several stages:
1. Onego runway – fashion festival that will engage studios and fashion theatres of educational institutions, creative groups of clothes manufacturers,tailors, designers etc. (stage located in the Technology and Enterprise College)
2. Onego Jazz – jazz festival (at Music College named after Karl Rautio)
3. Onego classic – festival of classical music (at the Conservatory)
4. Onego Mix – festival of creative students that features different types of art and culture (music, choreography, cinema, design, fashion, literature, theatre, folk etc.) and their combinations and forms (stage located at the Children’s House of Arts)
