Minsk found out about KSPA physics research

September 17-21, VII International conference «Plasma Physics and Technology» took place in Minsk.
Researches from seven countries: Belarus, the Ukraine, Lithuania, Turkey, Serbia, China and Russia presented their research results in the field of Physics.
Karelian State Pedagogical Academy was represented by professors of the Department of Physics and Mathematics Sergey Malkov, Elena Prokhorova and Alexey Platonov.
They presented reports: Structure of cathode region of short glow-discharge in helium and nitrogen (by S.Nisimov, E.Prokhorova, A.Slyshov);
Study of cathode region of glow-discharge in nitrogen (by A.Platonov, A.Slyshov, S.Vagner); Influence of electron emission process on dust particles’ charge in ordered plasma-dust structure (by S.Malkov, V.Savin).
Reports of KSPA professors drew much attention of colleagues from other countries. A two-volume collection in English was published following the results of the Conference.
