Sport September in the Academy

September 20, the first year students of the Academy gathered in the Onego lake waterfront to participate in sports competition.
It has become traditional to organize sports events for students in the beginning of academic year.
Roman Kemza, the Dean of the Department of Physical Culture, Leader of the KSPA sports club, told the first year students about rules of the competition. All teams had to compete at nine sports stations and participate in the final relay. Students of the fourth year of the Department of Physical Culture were acting as referees.
Professors of the Department supervised the competition, helped students to fulfill tasks and dispose energy. The fastest and fittest students, as expected, were from the Department of Physical Culture, the second prize went to the Department of Foreign languages, the third prize went to the Department of History and Philology.
